The past perfect tens
S + had + PP + O.
S + had not (hadn’t) + PP + O.

Note:
The past perfect tense
Ex: - I watched film when I had done all my homework. (1)
-I had done all my homework before 7 p.m. (2)
Use:
The past perfect tense can be used to describe:
- an action that had happened before another past action (1)
- an action before a point of time in the past (2)
He / break / her favourite vase
I / do / all my homework before 7 p.m.
She / not turn off / the gas stove
They / not see each other/ for 10 years
You / meet / them before?
All his classmates / leave / before he arrived?
