II. Grammar:
1. The past perfect: (Thì QKHT)
Eg: - I had done all my homework before I watched film. (1)
- I had finished all my homework before 7 p.m. (2)
* Usage:
Thì QKHT được dùng để diễn tả:

While George was reading in bed, two thieves into his kitchen. When they had entered the house, they went to the dinning room. It was very dark, so they on a torch. Suddenly they heard a voice behind them.
“What’s up? What’s up?” a voice . The thieves dropped the torch and ran away as quickly as they could.
George a noise and came downstairs quickly. He turned on the light but he couldn’t see anybody. The thieves f But George’s parrot, Henry, was still there.
“What’s up?” he called.
“Nothing, Henry,” George said and smiled. “Go back to sleep.”
