- If the verb ends in a consonant + Y, change


- If the verb only consists of C-V-C => Double the Consonant
Ex: Cut => cutting

Y => I + ED
PRACTICE
Making connections: Work in pairs. Match the verbs. Make sentences using both verbs in the past. Join the sentences with and, so, because or but.

2. Pairwork: Practice with your partners using the past simple to ask and answer the questions:
