Mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ kết quả thường bắt đầu bằng từ nối So để nói lên kết quả do 1 nguyên nhân hay hành động được diễn tả trong mệnh đề chính. So đứng giữa nối mệnh đề chính chỉ nguyên nhân và mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ kết quả.
Ex: The shop was closed, so I came back home.
