WARM - UP
Look at the picture and answer the questions:
In Vietnam , do people often kiss in public? Why? Or Why not?

Talking about the differences between Vietnamese and American Cultures and expressing your point of view

Group-work:
A group contains 4 members playing the roles of Teacher, Teenager, Parent, and Presenter.
Each member in this group will be given a role-card. You work in your group and do the tasks written on your cards
Teenager: Your name is Christ West, and you are 15 years old. You are going to appear on the TV program Q & A. This week’s debate is : “ Should children have mobile phones?”
Think of at least three reasons why all children should have mobile phones?
Ex: Children can tell their parents if they are late, miss a bus, etc….
Parent: Your name is Sam Richards and you are the mother or father of three children, aged 8,11 and 15. You are going to appear on the TV program Q & A.
Think of at least three reasons why children under 16 shouldn’t have mobile phones,
For example: Radiation from mobile phones is bad for children’s health…
Teacher: Your name is Max Taylor, and you are an English Teacher at a local school…..
