What are the beliefs in marriage of Americans and Asians?
What are the four key values in the survey?
What is the main finding of the survey?
Americans believe in “romantic” marriage. On the other hand, Asians believe in “contractual” marriage.
They are physical attractiveness, confiding, partnership of equals and trust built on love.
Young Asians are not as romantic as their American counterparts.

III. Finding the meaning of the italicized words or phrases:
trust B. having a duty to do sth. C. happen before sth.

They agree that it is unwise to confide in their wives.
