Before you read:
In your opinion, what are the most important factors in marriage (LOVE, MONEY, A GOOD JOB, GOOD HEALTH, A NICE HOUSE/FLAT, PARENTS’ APPROVAL)? ( in Vietnam and American)
Precede(v): to go before, as in place, order, rank, importance, or time.
Contractual(a): pertaining to, or secured by a contract.
Determine(v): To fix the boundaries of; to mark off and separate.
Conduct(v): The act or method of conducting; guidance; management.
Oblige(v): To attach, as by a bond
Significantly(adv): In a significant manner
Attitude(n): The posture, action, or disposition of a figure or a statue.

While you read:
1. Love is supposed to follow marriage, not precede it.
2. A survey was made to determine their attitudes toward love and marriage.
3. They agree that it is unwise to confide in their wives.
4. An Indian woman has to sacrifice more in a marriage than a man.
5. A husband is obliged to tell his wife where he has been.
