► Adjectives in -ed:
I was terribly embarrassed by that incident.
I’m interested in the lesson.
=> Chúng ta sử dụng tính từ kết thúc bằng đuôi –ed để miêu tả cảm giác của con người
► Adjectives in –ing
That incident was embarrassing for me.
I find English interesting.
He is very boring. I don’t like him at all.
Chúng ta sử dụng tính từ kết thúc bằng đuôi –ing để nói về những thứ hay ai đó khiến chúng ta có cảm giác như vậy
Note: Tính từ kết thúc bằng đuôi –ing còn có chức năng bổ nghĩa cho danh từ và nó có thể đứng trước danh từ
He is very boring. I don’t like him at all.
= He is a very boring man. I don’t like him at all.
