Unit 16. Historical places

Today, we will introduce you some of historical places in Viet Nam.
This is Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam, a famous historical and culture site in Hanoi. It was built in 1070 in the Ly dynasty.
After more than 900 years of existence, Van Mieu is an example of well-preserved tradinational Vietnamese architecture.

This is President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum. It’s situated in Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. It was built in Septemper 1973, completed in August 1975.
The first floor is a stand for important meetings organised at Ba Dinh Square.
The President is lying on the second floor.
And the third floor is the roof.
