THE ANCIENT TOWN OF HOI AN
One of very famous historicalplaces of Vietnam
A major trading center in Southeast Asia between the 16th to 17th century.
Place:on the Thu Bon river, 30km South of Da Nang.
Famous: old tembles, pagodas, small tile-roofed houses and narrow streets
Main attractions: Japanese Bridge(16th cen.);Assembly Hall of Cantonese Chinese Congregation(1885);Tan Ky house(19th cen.)

The ancient town of Hoi An lies on the Thu Bon river,30km South of Da Nang. It was formerly a major trading centre in Southeast Asia between the 16th and the 17th centuries. Hoi An is famous for his old temples, small tile-roofed houses and narrow streets.
One of the main attractions of Hoi An is the
Japanese Covered Bridge,which was built in the 16th century,the Assembly Hall of Cantonese Chinese Congregation built in 1855 and the Tan Ky house which was contructed nearly two centuries ago.
This place attracts many tourists from all over the world.It is one of the very famous historical places of Vietnam.
