Cues to read
Firstly, read the sentence & go back to the passage to locate & read around the italicized word/phrase so that you can guess its meaning.
Then read the three choices given in the book & work out which one is closest in meaning with the word/phrase.
Rules:
-Two teams : A and B
- Each team takes turn to choose a different number and answers the question
- For each right answer, I will give you a star
- If you choose a number with a lucky star, you will get a star without answering the question.
-The team having more stars at the end of the game will be the winner.

Walking and swimming
4. Why do many British people take weekend courses?
Because this is a new kind of entertainment which gives them pleasure and usefulness
5. Which holiday courses have attracted British people in the last few years?
They are bricklaying, making your own stock market decisions, painting or drawing, karaoke singing, shoemaking or glass engraving, and living with more meaning.
6. Can everyone take part in these courses ?
Yes, if they have enough money to pay the fees
