SOME INFORMATION OF THE 22ND SEA GAMES
The atmosphere of the 22nd SEA Games
The emblem:
the representation of Chim Lac, was decorated by 3 colors: blue symbolizes aquatic sports, green represents athletic sports and red is the winning spirit.
22nd SEA Games was held in Vietnam from 5th to 13th of December, 2003.
This was the first time Vietnam hosted a SEA Games event. The SEA Games opening Ceremony took place at My Dinh national stadium, Hanoi.
The mascot:
The golden water buffalo - trau vang.
To the Vietnamese people, it symbolizes
a golden harvest, prosperity and happiness.

For the World of tomorrow,

The event:
11 participating countries competed in
32 sports and 444 gold medals were won.
