1. Adjectives of attitude
Some verbs+ ing = Adjectives
Some verbs + ed = Adjectives
Adjective ending – ING or - ED
Mary has been doing the same job again and again for a long time. She doesn’t enjoy it.
bored
boring
Mary is bored with her job.
Mary’s job is boring.
*So when did I use an adjective ending with ING and when with an adjective ending with ED?
Rules :
- The -ing adjective tells you about something (The job is boring) , it refers an active meaning.
- The -ed adjective tells you how somebody feels about something,It refers a passive meaning.
(Mary is bored because the job is boring).


--> My job is interesting. I`m interrested in my job.
--> My job is tiring. I`m always tired when I finish work.
--> My job is satisfying. I`m satisfied with my job.

This is such an interesting love story film that many people are interested in it.
Interest
Form this word to adjective ending with –ing or –ed then make a sentence with it.

It was not until 2007 that I got married.
So I can say :

For lunch I had a sanwich and an apple. The sanwich wasn’t very nice but the apple

“A and An” can precede only singular count nouns; they mean one, they are used to introduced a subject which has firstly mentioned. But “An” is used before words that begin a vowel sound
“The” is used to indicate something that we have already mentioned before

PROCEDUCE:

Divide the class into 3 teams.
Each team in turn chooses a number at random and do the task requested, if the answer is correct, ONE POINT is scored. In case the answer is wrong, the other team can answer .
If a LUCKY NUMBER is chosen, ONE POINT is given without the answer, and the team continues choosing another number to answer.
The team getting more points is the winner.
