Adj. ending –ING is used to express the active meaning

Articles : A, An , The
For lunch I had a sandwich and an apple. The sandwich wasn’t very nice,
“A” and “An” can precede only singular count nouns; they mean “one”, they are used to introduce a subject which has firstly mentioned. But “An” is used before the words that begin a vowel sound
“The” is used to indicate something that we have already mentioned before
