1. Adjective forms of verbs
Example:
Form: Present participle: V-ing
Past participle: V-ed
Usage:
V-ing: - having active meaning
- the subject causing the action
- describe the nature of people/things
V-ed: - having passive meaning
- express people’s attitude or feelings
II. Grammar and vocabulary
Example:
Situation:
A boy is watching a film which is about a ghost’s life.
- The ghost in the film makes
the boy horrified

The ghost is really horrifying
for him to watch
