/f/: voiceless sound, we put a sheet in front of our mouth, when pronouncing /f/, the sheet will be moved.
/v/: voiced sound, we put a sheet in front of our mouth, when pronouncing /f/, the sheet will not be moved.

Articles A/an and The
Definition:
A/an and The are articles. They are a type of determiner and they go before a noun.
Indefinite articles: A/ an before a noun shows that what is referred
to is not already known to the speaker, listener, writer and/or reader
(it is the indefinite article):
EX: A: Do you have a car? Do you live in a house?
B: No, actually, I live in an apartment.
Articles A/an and The
Definite article: The before a noun shows that what is referred to is already known to the speaker, listener, writer and/or reader. The makes a noun specific.
EX:
Where did we park the car? (The speaker and the listener know what
car is being referred to.)
We had to paint the apartment before we sold it. (The speaker and
the listener know what apartment is being referred to.)
The usage
Indefinite articles: A/ an.
We only use a/ an with singular countable nouns: food, dinner, lunch.
Definite article: The
Before countable nouns and uncountable nouns.
Before the only objects: The sun, the moon…
Before superlative: The most
Before a musical instrument: The guitar, …
