I. Aims:
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
-Ss know how to comparatives & superlatives are formed.
-SS can name parts of the body.
-Ss know how to use should and shouldn’t.

III. Procedure:

Wrapping:
-Ask Ss to look at the pictures and discuss the questions in groups.
-Feedback the answers.
-Guide Ss to decide which of the ideas are used in the article.
-Introduce grammar: invite 3 tall pupils to stand in front of the class.
+”How tall are you?”
-Write the height of each and remark: tall, taller, the tallest.
-Ask Ss to read the text and complete the table.
--Invite Ss to tell how comparative and superlatives are formed.
-Write on general rule and ask to give examples.
-Give form of some special adjectives:
+, good-better-the best
+, bad-worse-the worst
+, far-further-the further.
-Play the tape for Ss to listen and check their answers.
-Guide Ss to write sentences using the prompts.
-Check.
-Ask Ss to point parts of body.
-Ask to complete the labeling of the pictures.
-Give words
-Introduce plural of some words:
+, foot- feet
+, tooth- teeth.
-Ask to read the words.
-Invite Ss to discuss stories they have heard, books or articles they have read, films or programmes they have seen.
-Ask Ss to look at the pictures and discuss what is happening.
-Ask Ss to look through the text to answer the questions.
-Allow Ss enough time to read the text and number the pictures in the correct order.
-Ask Ss to read again the text and find answers for the questions……..
-Read the problems with the class using actions to help Ss match them with the pictures.
-Check the answers.
-Play the tape for Ss to listen and give answers.
-Refer Ss to the rules for should or shouldn’t.
--Write the gapped expressions for Ss to complete and practise saying.
-Play the tape for Ss to listen and check their answers.
-Introduce the way to express disease.
Eg:
+, I’m hungry/thirsty/hot/cold.
+, I’ve got a headache/a cough/a sore throat.
+,My eye/back hurts.
-Summarize the main points.
-Assign homework.
-Look at the pictures and discuss.
-Check the answers:
+It’s a health farm.
+They’re exercising…
+They go to get fitter….
-Decide:
1. You can get fitter.
3. Health farms are becoming.
5. The food is good.
……………..
-Pay attention.
-Read the text and complete:

Young younger the youngest
Cold colder the coldest
Fit fitter the fittest
Difficult more difficult the most difficult.
-Tell:
+Short adj-> adj-er -> the adj-est
+Long adj -> more adj-> the most adj.
-Give examples:
. Health farms are cheaper than other hotels.
. It’s not the most expensive health farm in the country.
-Listen and give answers.
-Write sentences.
-Point and label:
1-head 2-chest 3-stomach 4-leg 5-hair 6-ear 7-eye 8-face 9-nose 10-teeth 11-mouth 12-neck 13-arm 14-hand 15-thumb 16-finger 17-knee 18-foot 19-toe
