About which / at which / for which
In which / at which = where
On which / in which = when

Giới từ được dùng trước : whom , which
Không dùng giới từ trước: that,who, where, when, why
Dùng preposition (giới từ) + relative pronoun (đại từ quan hệ) sau dấu phẩy trong mệnh đề không xác định.
Với cụm động từ (phrasal verbs: look after, come across, fill in, take on….) thì giới từkhông được dùng trước đại từ quan hệ.
Ex: 1. She is the woman. I told you abouther.
She is the woman about whom I told you.
2. Mr Smith hasn’t given up his reply. We sent the letter tohim.
⇨ Mr Smith, to whom we sent the letter, hasn’t never given up his reply.
3. The song was composed by a famous musician. We are listening toit.
⇨The song to which we are listening was composed by a famous musician.
4. “Heal the World” was composed by Michael Jackson. We are listening toit.
⇨ “Heal the World”, to which we are listening , was composed by Michael Jackson.
5. The building is very old. He lives inthat building.
⇨ The building in which (where) he lives is very old.
6. Summer is the season. It is hottest inthe summer.
⇨ Summer is the season in which (when) it is hottest.

(Cách dùng này được sử dụng trong mệnh đề quan hệ không xác định; cụm từ chỉ số lượng với whom và which được dùng sau dấu phẩy)

Ex : -He had three cars. One of them was made in Japan.
