As part if an education exchange programme, a group of foreign students will visit your school for two months. Your group will have to prepare a presentation for them in which you will describe some aspects of Vietnamese culture and some Dos and Don’ts to help them avoid embarrassment during their stay in Vietnam.
Vietnam is a beautiful country with the population about ninety millions, a variety of widely well-known views, a long list of delicious foods which can make you addicted to, many attractive beachs, festivals, etc...
First, it is spring now, so I want to introduce you about the most important occasion in Vietnam and takes place in this season, Tet. Tet takes place between the end of January and the begin of February, from the first day to the third day of the lunar calendar.. People usually go to church, temple, pagoda to pray for peace, health,... There are many traditonal foods must be prepared like Chung cake, Jam, sticky rice cake. It`s time for people to come hometown and enjoy the cozy atmosphere.
Beside, you have not to be the first visitor to someone’s house on the first day of the Tet holiday unless you’re invited, or the host will feel uncomfortable, maybe angry. You also must not say any bad words in first three days, break things and sweep.
Next, I want to tell you about Vietnamese’s rules. Before you eating something like the snack or meal, remember to invite other people and share the meal or snack with them. It will make you seem to be a polite and friendly person.
Finally, when you are on the bus, you see an old person or a pregnant woman, you should give your seat to them. You will be respected so much.
In conclusion, they are 4 tips for you help you avoid embarrassment during you stay in Vietnam. Hope you will have a wonderful time here, stay fresh and always be happy!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
