2. Make your own Haiku.
"Haiku" comes from Japan
Write three lines Haiku poem to describle yourself. Thre first and last lines have five syllables. The middle lines has seven syllables. The lines don't need to rhyme.
My hair is shiny My cheeks are round and rosy This is me. I'm Trang!
Swap your Haiku with two friends. Don't write your name. Let them guess.

1. Stick a photo/ drawing of friends sitting next to you on a large sheet of paper. 2. Write a short description of your friend. Think about how special he/she is (appearance, personality). 3. Interview your friend to find out about him/her (e.g. interesting faces, hobbies, favourite subjects, teachers, books, movies, what she/he likes/hates, etc.) Include these faces in your writing. 4. Decorate the page and bring it to class to make a yearbook.
