Adjective attitude
Ex: The film is very interesting

The old man feels tired after a long walk.
Form:
Present participle: V-ing
Past participle : V-ed
Usage:
Adjectives ending with –ING used with nouns refering to things
implying the active meaning.
- Adjectives ending with –ED used with nouns refering to people
implying the passive meaning.
Note :
1. The news made me dissappointed.
2. He finds his job interesting.
Ex:
S ( things ) + make + O + A (V-ed)
S ( people ) + find + O + A (V-ing)

**Note: It is not until + time/ clause of time + that + clause ( S + V (present)
Ex: He doesn’t leave until midday.
It is not until midday that he leaves
Form: It was not until + time /clause of time + that + clause (S+V2/ed)
Usage: “ It was not until…that..” is used to emphasize the time of the beginning of an action, an event…..
Ex : He didn’t teach in this school until 1990.
It was not until 1990 that he taught in this school.

*Usage:- “a” and “an” are used before countable singular nouns, nouns mentioned for the first time…
b. Definite article: THE
*Usage: “ THE” is used before :
- the definite nouns ( mentioned before).
- the names of restaurants, hotels, cinemas, oceans, rivers……
- the nouns showing the unique.
