Period 1: section A: Personal hygiene (1) week: 21
I. Objectives
By the end of the period, students can talk about habit.
II. Language contents

- review the previous structures.

 1.Warm up
T: ask questions.
Ss: answer the questions.

2. Presentation
Ss: listen to the tape part A.1.
Ss: repeat the letter after the teacher twice.
Ss: pick up new words from the letter.
T: explain the new words on the board.
Ss: repeat the new words after the teacher. ( choral and individuals)

Ss: listen to the tape again and repeat the letter twice.
Ss: read the letter in silence.
Ss: some read the letter loudly.

3. Practice
Ss: - work in pair, ask and answer the questions
Feedback: some pairs practice in front of the class.






4. Comprehension check
T: ask questions.
Ss: answer the questions.

- How often do you brush your teeth?
- Do you do morning exercise?
- Can you take care of yourself?

- harvest (n) : vụ thu hoạch
- helpful (adj) : giúp ích
- iron (v) : là, ủi
- probably (adv) : có khả năng, có lẽ

 1.Warm up
T: ask questions.
Ss: answer the questions.

2. Presentation
Ss: observe the pictures in part A.2 and say what she is doing.
Ss: guess what she does first.
Ss: listen to the tape three times and put the pictures in the order they hear.
Ss: listen again sentence by sentence and check their answers.
Ss: some write their answers on the board. (different answers)
Ss & T: listen to the tape again and correct the answer.
Ss: read Nam’s diary in part A.3.
T: help students recall the ways of talking about daily activities.
T: ask some questions and students answer.
3. Practice
Ss: in five minutes, write their diaries.
Ss: - work in pair, ask and answer the questions about their daily activities.
Feedback: some pairs practice in front of the class.

4. Comprehension check
Ss: some read their diaries loudly and others ask questions.
