Exercise 4 : Complete the story, putting one word in each space.
My cousin Catherine used to go to (1)… very smart private school for girls. In the Easter holidays, she came home to her family’s big old farm house in the country as usual. Then, (2)…..1st April, a letter arrived for Catherine. Her mother, my aunt Eileen(3)….. it to her at breakfast. When Catherine opened it, she looked shocked. “oh no!” she cried. “ My best friend from school, Lucy, is coming here today ! She says she is arriving on the 3 o’clock train! Oh, how awful!
