Write about what you think we should allow the use of a mobile phine at a high school or not.

Nowadays, mobile phones are very popular as the have a number of advantages, but I still believe that students should be prohibited from using them at school. In this essay, I will present some of the reasons for such belief.

The first and foremost reason why students should not be allowed to use cellphones at school is that they pose a significant disruption in the educational process. The most  obvious manifestation of such disruption is cheating during exams or other testing methods; access to the Internet  electronic books, and consulting with peers through mobile Skype right from the classroom. Phone rings, incoming message signals, or games interfre with the educational process by distracting teachers and students from classes. Even if the sound is turned off, a phone’s vibration still distracts students lose their attention.

Another reason for banning cellphones in classes is an increased temptation for students to communicate not just with students in others classes but also other schools and even adults that are not in the school environment.  There is the potential for social disagreements, and even communication with an adult who is not approved by parents. It can lead to students having episodes of being upset while a teacher is trying to conduct lessons. Banning cell phones won`t eliminate social break ups or disagreements, but it can reduce opportunities for these kinds of issues

Though cell phones are necessary for high school students in terms of their safety, they should still be prohibited from use during classes. The reasons for that are the disrupting of the educational process and facilitating student’s cheating increasing opportunities for unhealthy relationships.
