GENERAL CONCLUSION
The intensive text-book twelve is the last one in the series of three books used for high-school students. It helps students continue broadening their knowledge about the six themes students have learnt in the tenth and eleventh grades. It provides students with vocabulary, patterns, structures, expressions … It also helps students review and broaden the old language they have learnt. Especially, it helps students continue practising their four language skills: R – S – L – W.
I. GENERAL AIMS AND REQUESTS OF THE COURSE:
Knowledge
* The 1st term: From Unit 1 to Unit 8. (Seven periods for each unit). Including 2 units of consolidation
* The 2nd term: From Unit 9 to Unit 16 (Seven periods for each unit). Including 2 units of consolidation
The rest time is for consolidation and revision for the 1st and the 2nd term check up.

Community 6. People and places

Unit 1: Home Life. - Unit 9: Deserts
Unit 2: Cultural Diversity - Unit 10: Endangered Species

Unit 6: Economic Reform - Unit 14: International Organizations

Unit 1: Present simple expressing routine/ Reported speech: statements and questions
Unit 2: Negative prefixes/ tense revision (Present simple & present progressive/ past simple & past progressive/ present perfect & present perfect progressive)
Unit 3: - edly adverbs/ Passive voice
Unit 4: Prepositions after verbs/ Adverbial clauses of place/ Conditional sentences
Unit 5: “Make & DO”/ Relative clauses (Restrictive and Non-restrictive)

Unit 12: Words indicating people who do particular sports/ Adverbial phrases/ clauses of purpose
Unit 13: “Play/ Do & Go”/ Comparative + and + comparative
Unit 14: Abbreviation and acronyms/ Adverbial clauses of time
Unit 15: Phrasal verbs with GET/ sentence and clause connectors/ Adverbial clauses of manner with as and as if.
Unit 16: Phrasal verbs with TAKE/ BRING Vs. TAKE/ review: Adverbial clauses
II. SITUATION OF THE CLASSES BEING TAUGHT IN THIS SCHOOL-YEAR:
(According to the result of the first 15’ Test)
+ 12: Total number: 45
- Good: 2 - Fair: 4
- Average: 20 - Weak: 19
III. ADVANTAGES AND DIS ADVANTAGES:
1. Advantages:
Most of the students see the importance and necessity of learning English.
Students’ parents pay much attention to their children’s learning.
Students have enough books and facilities to learn this subject.
Most of the students wish to enter colleges or universities of Foreign language.
2. Disadvantages:
Some of the students don’t have good methods of learning.
Some of them don’t prepare their lessons or do homework regularly.
Some of them are too bad to learn anything.
The total number of students in each class is so big that it’s difficult for each of them to practise much in class.

For Teacher:
Good preparation at home
Pay much attention to new methods of teaching.
Pay much attention to the main points in each unit.
Let students have much opportunities to practise their English in class.
