It consists of five papers:
+ Use of English
+ Reading
+ Listening
+ Writing
+ Speaking
Paper 1: Use of English
There are five parts in this paper.
Part 1: Multiple choice cloze (15 questions)
You are given a text containing gaps. Each gaps has four options. You must choose the correct option to fill each gap. And you must write your answer in the answer sheet.
Jeans are very popular with young people all (1)....the world. Some people say that jeans are the "uniform" of (2) ..... But they haven`t always been popular. The story of jeans started (3) .....two hundred years ago. People in Genoa, Italy made pants. The cloth (4) .....in Genoa was called "jeanos". The pants were called "jeans". 2. Part 2: Open cloze : (Number of questions: 15)
You are given a text containing gaps. You must write one word to fill each gap.

4. Part 4: Error correction (Number of question: 15)
You are given a text. Some lines of the text are correct and some contain an extra and unnecessary word which must be identified. There are usually between 3 and 5 correct lines. You must tick the correct lines and write the unnecessary words in the space provided.

Part 1: Listen to 8 different situations, then choose the best answer A, B, or C

2. Part 2: Listen and fill in the gap.
You hear a dialogue or a monologue then fill in the blank with a word or a pharse (between one and three words)
A first time for everybody
Joe stepped onto the aeroplane and was met by one of the cabin crew who showed him to his seat. This was his first flight and he was feeling quite nervous. Paper 4: Speaking
Part 1: Interview
In this part, the examiner will ask you some questions which may be Wh-q, alternative or Yes/ No questions and he/ she doesn’t expect a short answer.
Examiner: Do you have a large or small family?
Candidate: Oh, I have a small family with 4 people, my wife, my two sons and I.
Examiner: Where are you from?
Candidate: I am from Ly Nhan, just about 14 km to the east of Phu Ly. It is a beautiful place with two rivers around it.
2. Part 2: Individual long-turn
You will be given a topic and you have one minute to prepare for it. You can take note if necessary. Then you will have one or two minutes to talk about it
3. Part 3: Questioning
The examiner will ask you some questions to check your knowledge on one field.
