LOUIS PASTEUR (1822 – 1895)
Louis Pasteur was born in Dole, France on December 27, 1822. His parents were poor though they worked very hard. However, they always want to give their son good education.
After receiving a doctor of science degree in 1847, Pasteur was appointed professor of chemist at the University of Strasbourg. Here he met Marie Laurent and they were married in 1849.
