III. Cách câu sang câu gián :
1. câu (câu ):
+ . (có SAY TO thì TELL)
+ THAT liên .
+ kép, các câu, lùi .
S1 + V(giới thiệu) + That + S2 + V2(lùi thời)

“He doesn’t love me”, she thought.
( She thought that he didn’t love her.
2. Câu nghi có :
+ ASK (Sb),
+ nguyên liên .
+ kép, , các câu, lùi
+ câu nghi câu .
S1 + V(thiệu) + WH + S2 + V2(/)(lùithời)

“Where do you come from?” she said to me.
( She asked me where I came from.
3. Câu nghi không có hỏi:
+ ASK (Sb)
+ IF WHETHER liên . (trong câu có OR …NOT thì dùng WHETHER).
+ kép, , các câu, lùi
+ câu nghi câu .
S1 + V(giớii thiệu) + If/ whether + S2 + V2(/)(lùi thời)

“Do you love me?” he said to me.
( He asked me if I loved him.
“Will he come tomorrow or not?” she said to herself.
( She wondered whether he would come the following day or not.

4. câu :
