REVISION 3
Once upon a time a genie (1)… in a bottle. She was tired and uncomfortable and wished she (2)… free. Frankly, she had a lot of things to do, and she was plainly bored in the bottle.

Suddenly the genie popped (5)… the bottle. “Oh, thank you for freeing me”, she said. Make three wishes and they will come true.” So the man thought (6)… a while and then said, “I wish I (7)… on an island with fifty beautiful women.” Zap, his wish came true.
After a while he got tired of his island and he said, “I wish I had a Cadillac car.” Zap and his wish came true.
He got his car and turn (8)… the radio. He loved to sing along with all the hit songs. He was singing and drinking and thinking about his last wish when the radio began (9)… the commercial for Happy Valley hot dogs. With a smile on his face, he began to sing along. “Oh, I wish I were a Happy Valley hot dog, because everyone (10)… in love with me.” Zap, his wish came true. (Penny Laporte, 1985: 81)

Winter driving
Winter is dangerous because it’s so difficult to know what is going to happen and accidents take place so easily. Fog can be waiting to meet you over the top of the hill. Ice might be hiding beneath the melting snow, waiting to send you off the road. The car coming towards you may suddenly slide across the road.
Rule Number One for driving on icy roads is to drive smoothly. Uneven movements can make a car very difficult to control. So it’s safe that you drive as slow as possible. Imagine you are driving with a full cup of hot coffee on the seat next to you. Drive so that you wouldn’t spill it.
Rule Number Two is to pay attention to what might happen. The more ice there is, the further down the road you have to look. Especially, when it snows, test the street carefully to avoid the holes or rocks on it. Remember that you may be driving more quickly than you think. In general, try to stay in control of your car at all times and you will avoid trouble.
