WHAT DOES EARTH QUAKE REFER TO?
An earthquake (known as a quake, tremor or temblor) is the result of a sudden release of energy in the Earth`s crust that creates seismic waves.
Mountains are made by movements of the earth’s crust. When the crust buckles and slips, the vibration made by its movements is called an earthquake
Earthquakes are measured using observations from seismometers. If the magnitude is larger than 5 they are reported for the entire globe.
A large number of people are killed when homes, office blocks and highways collapse.
TSUNAMI
WHAT IS TSUNAMI ?
A tsunami referred to as a tidal wave, is the result of an abrupt shift in the earth underwater.

Tsunami have three kinds based on depth :
