The rice-cooking festival is held every year. There are three competitions: water-fetching, fire-making, and rice-cooking. In water-fetching, one person from each eam has to run to the river bank and take a bottle and return to the starting positon. In the fire-making contest. Fire is made in traditional way. They try to make a fire by rubbing pieces of bamboo together. The winners are the first one to make a fire. In the rice-cooking contest, there are six people from each team. They have to separate the rice from the husk and then cook the rice. The judges try the finished products and the most delicious rice is the winner.
