II. Read the passage and do the exercises below.
Nowadays, our environment is in danger because some people do not care about it. As a result, the problem is increasingly. The question here is what ordinary people can do to help protect the environment.
The first thing I want to mention is that we, ordinary people can support groups which protect the environment. We can do this by giving money or personal engagement.
Another point that we can do is to demonstrate. In this case, we show the other people and the government our opinion and they can see that it is necessary to protect the environment.
What is more? We can also write letters to the government to show our opinion or we can speak to local politicians about the environment as well as its problems. By this way, we may attract their attention to environmental problems.
To sum up, I think everybody should think about the environment and how we can protect it. We should not wait until our neighbours or classmates begin because we do not have much time left and maybe in some years, we will have nothing to protect.
