I. Complete these sentences using the six verbs from the list below. Use each verb only once
try on - wear out - do up - take off - go with - put on
1. The zip on my new jacket doesn`t......properly.
2. Every morning I get up and......my clothes.

4. You should always......a new pair of shoes before you buy them.

II. Complete the sentences using the verbs in brackets.

III. Replace the words in italics by the words in brackets. Change the word order if necessary.

IV. Complete the passage using try on/put on/go with.

V. Complete the passage using do up/take off/wear out.
Don`t wear your new shoes all the time!......them......occasionally or you`ll......them......; and when you put them on, ......them properly.
VI. Use the verbs in brackets to reply to the following.

- try on : mặc thử (áo, quần…)
- wear out : (áo quần, giày dép…) mòn vẹt; [nghĩa bóng] làm đuối sức; mệt rã rời
- do up ; mặc áo quần, mang giày dép chỉnh tề
- take off : cởi ra (giày, dép, áo quần…)
- go with : hợp (màu sắc y phục)
- put on : mặc (áo quần); mang, đeo vào (giày dép…)
