Forms of the verbs in past simple tense: V2 and V-ed
When the verb is regular we add “ed” after it, but when the verb is irregular we use the second column form (V2)

When the verb ending in a consonant and before it there is one vowel. Then we shall double the last consonant and add “ed”.

“ED” Pronunciation
/t/: when the verb ends in “k, f, p, ss, sh, ch, x, se, ce, ge. (liked, laughed, wrapped, practiced, changed…)
/id/: when the verb ends in “t, d” (wanted, needed, attended, planted…)
/d/: other cases.
Arrange these verbs according to it’s pronunciation of “ed”
