PASSIVE VOICE
The ways to change a sentence into PASSIVE VOICE
Active: S + V + O
Passive: S + (BE) + V+ed / 3rd + (by O)
THE FORMS:
1/ The simple present tense
S + AM /IS ARE + V+ed /3rd + (by O)
2/ The simple past tense
S + WAS /WERE + V+ed /3rd + (by O)
3/ The present perfect tense
S + HAVE /HAS + BEEN + V+ed /3rd + (by O)
4/ The past perfect tense
S + HAD + BEEN + V+ed /3rd + (by O)
5/ The present continuous tense
S + AM /IS ARE + BEING + V+ed /3rd + (by O)
6/ The past continuous tense
S + WAS / WERE + BEING + V+ed /3rd + (by O)
7/ Modal verbs:
EX: I am going to clean the house.
The house is going to be cleaned .
ACTVIVE PASSIVE
Can / may / must can / may / must
will / shall will /shall
S + Should / would / could + V ( _TO ) +O (( S + should / would / could + be +V ed/3rd
