A. LÝ THUYẾT WISH SENTENCES
Có 3 loại câu ước muốn
I. Câu ước muốn ở hiện tại :
S1+ wish(es) + S2 + động từ ở qúa khứ đơn ( Ved/ cột 2/ Be ( were

If only + S2 + động từ ở quá khứ đơn( Ved/ cột 2/ Be ( were

2. Câu ước muốn ở tương lai :
S1 + wish(es) + S2 + would/ could + V(inf)
If only + S2 + would/ could + V(inf)

3. Câu ước muốn ở quá khứ :
S1 + wish(es) + S2 + had (not)+ V(ed/ c3)
If only + S2 + had (not)+ V(ed/ c3)

4. Để phê phán hay phàn nàn về một vấn đề gì
S1 + WISH(ES) + S2 + WOULD (NOT) + V(inf)……
5. Sự cho phép , một khả năng : COULD + V
* Một số lưu ý:
- is, are, am = weren’t - isn’t, aren’t, am not = were
- will = wouldn’t - will not (won’t) = would
- can’t = could - can = couldn’t
-Ngoài ra ta có thể tìm từ trái nghĩa hoặc làm sang câu phủ định.
Ex : I play the guitar very bad / badly
( I wish I played the guitar well
( I wish I didn’t play the guitar bad.
Ex : I live close to school
