Reported speech
I. Definition:
- ‘Reported speech’ is when we say or write what another person said.
- It has two clauses: reported clause and reported speech.
Eg: She said that she was very happy then.
II. Changing the direct speech into the reported speech

2. Questions
- Yes/no questions:
reported clause + if/whether + reported speech.
- Wh- questions:
reported clause + Wh- question + reported speech.
