1. Tenses:
a. Present Tenses.
b. Past Tenses.
c. Future Tenses.
2. Attributive and predicative Adjs
a. Attributive Adjs: (Tính từ thuộc ngữ)
Ex: The new secretary doesn’t like me
She wore a nice new blue silk dress
b. Predicative Adjs: (Tính từ vị ngữ)
Be, Linking Verbs “ become, get, seem, look, feel, sound, taste, smell,…”
Ex: The baby is asleep.
He becomes well-know for his fairy tales (chuyện cổ tích).
3. Phrases or Clauses of Result:
a. Phrases Result:
(Not) + Adj/ Adv + Enough + to do: (đủ… để có thể)
Eg: She is old enough to do what she wants
* Notes:
S + V + Enough + N + TO DO
- It can be also used like determiner. Before countable plural NS or uncountable N
Eg: Are there enough potatoes to make potato soup?
- After enough, it can be also used:
Enough / Too + for + N/Pro
Eg: We haven’t got enough money for a holiday.
Eg: This sofa isn’t big enough for three people to sit on
Eg: This game is too difficult for children
Eg: The café is too hot for me to drink
Too… to do ( quá … không thể)
Eg: He spoke too quickly for me to understand
* Notes:
- Too much or too many.
Eg: There was too much snow (for us) to go walking
b. Clauses of Result:
So… that (quá… đến nổi)

Eg: It is so dark that I couldn’t see anything.
Such + (a or an) + adj + N + that Clause

Eg: It was such a heavy piano that we couldn’t move it.
They had such fierce (hung tợn) dogs that no one dared to go near their house
