When rainy daylight fades away
Along its streets the traffic curves
The buildings soar like sparkling towers

And dusk turns into light
And leaves behind a trace
Above the city’s sound

The cityscape, so gray by day
Of glistening colors-blue, red, white
And overlook a sea of lights

Becomes a maze of light
Reflected in its face
Upon the glittering ground

3. ROLE PLAY. Work with partner. Write a dialogue and then act out in the class.

Topic 1: Your neighbor usually leaves plastic bags of garbage in the front door for many days. The bags have very bad smell and appeal flies and other insects. You have told him about it several times, but he doesn’t seem to change. And, it happens again, and you can’t stand it.

Topic 2: Many of your classmates often eat and drink in the classroom. However, they don’t put the plastic bags or containers into the trash bin. They put them in the drawer of their desks. You don’t think it is good, so you come and talk to them

4. Dream place of living. Describe the place of living that you think is perfect for your life. Use the following as guideline.

What is the weather like there?
What is the environment like?
Is it crowded there?
What does transportation or road system look like?
Would it be a house, a mansion, a cottage or a room in a resort?
