Aims and objectives:
Language content: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to understand some structures to greet others and introduce themselves.
Language function: Greetings and introducing yourself.
Educational aim: To help the students to be polite with the others.

Vocabulary: hello, hi, teacher and students’ name
Grammar: Hello, I am …(Andy). Hi! My name is…(Kate).

Method: Communicative approach
Techniques: using picture, listen and repeat, pair work
Materials needed: puppets, textbook, workbook, picture, teacher’s book
