Say what would happen if
1) Bacteria stopped working.
2) Our environment were destroyed.
3) The forest did not exist.
4) All the animals vanished.
5) Our water resources were contaminated.
Exist / ig’zist / (Verb) = to have being: Tồn tại.
Ex:
Does life exist on Mars ?
Vanish / væni∫ / (Verb) = disappear
Contaminate / kən’tæmimeit / (Verb):Làm bẩn, làm ô nhiễm.
: Biến mất.
Say what would happen if
1) Bacteria stopped working.
If bacteria stopped working, all kinds of life on this planet would seem to come to an end.
2) Our environment were destroyed.
If our environment were destroyed, certainly our life would be affected.
3) The forest did not exist.
If the forest did not exist, all the earth would be flooded.
4) All the animals vanished.
If all the animals vanished, we would have no meat to eat.
5) Our water resources were contaminated.
If our water resources were contaminated, we would be affected/we would be short of clean water.
