Installation of Cadence Allegro SPB 16.2


Before starting the installation check the name of the computer on the network in "properties of" menu "Start / Settings / Control Panel / System."















Insert the CD 1 in the installation window and select the "License Manager". If the installation window does not open the setup by Explorer















In the next window click "Next."















Mark:”..I accept the term of...”






























Copy the file orcad16.lic the CD 1 to the C: Cadence LicenseManager. Then click "Browse" and select the file orcad16.lic.

















Confirm data from the following window: Port Number: 5280 Host Name:


To finish the installation click "Finish".
















Then install the Cadence SPB selecting the "Product Installation."






















Click on :”OK”








Check "I accept the terms of ..."     Click "Next". In the next window click "Next."













Mark :”All SPB16.2”







































Insert the CD 2 and click "OK." Insert the CD 3 and click "OK."











In the "License Path" type the text @ 5280 followed by the name of the computer on the network. Then click "Next." Eg 5280 @ name











Click on :“Finish”


The following window asking if you want to include the extensions of the files in the registry. Usually you can click "No".







To finish the installation click "Finish".















Close the installation menu by clicking "Exit".







If this error appears, reinsert the CD 1 and click & Click On "Cancel."





Insert the CD and copy the file ShooTERS.exe for the C: Cadence. Then run this file. Wait for the program window closes, a little delay.












Set the License Manager. Open the menu LmTools "Start Programs Cadence License Manager." Select the tab "Start / Stop / Reread", check the option "Force Server Shutdown" and click "Stop Server".



















Select the tab "Config Services" in the "Path to the license file", click "Browse" and select the file in orcad16.lic C: Cadence LicenseManager. Then click "Save Service".




















If the next window appear click "Yes."









Go back to the tab "Start / Stop / Reread" and click "Start Server".






















Then click "ReRead License File."








The installation is complete.
