Hàanh động sẽ diễn ra tại một thời điểm nhất định trong tương lai

Present perfect
Hiện tại HT

Một sự việc diễn ra trong quá khứ tiếp diễn đến hiện tại.

Simple Past
Quá đơn

Một sự việc đa diễn ra trong qua , chấm dứt hoàn toàn trong quá khứ

Lesson 4: Past simple and past simple with Wish

A. AIM: By the end of the lesson, Students will be able to revise :
+ grammar structure of past simple.
+ past simple with wish.
B. CONTENTS:
I. Revision: ( 30 mins )
1.Past simple:
- Ask Ss to give 3 examples using past simple. Then Ss give the form, use, adv :
- Call Ss to write answer on the board.
- Correct:
+ Form: + S + V-ed / V (cột 2) + .....
- S + didn’t + V(inf) + ......
? Did + S + V(inf) + ...... ?

+ Use: Diễn tả 1 hành động đã xảy ra trong quá khứ và đã kết thúc ở 1 thời điểm được biết rõ trong quá khứ.
+ Adv: Yesterday ; ..........ago
Last ....... ; in ........
- Write verbs on the board and ask Ss to change them into Verbs in past simple.
- Correct:
V(inf) → V ((cột 2)
wear → wore meet → met
do → did read → read
write → wrote buy → bought
know → knew go → went
see → saw have/ has → had
- Ask Ss to give the correct form of verbs:
Ex: 1. He ( meet ) Hoa in hue in 2000.
2. We ( not move ) to Canada last year.
3. They ( buy ) a bike 2 weeks ago ?
- Call Ss to write answer on the board.
- Correct:
1. met
2. didn’t move
3. Did they buy

2. Past simple with Wish:
- Ask Ss to give 2 examples using past simple with wish. Then Ss give the form, use :
- Call Ss to write answer on the board.
- Correct:
+ Form: S + wish(es) + S + V-ed / V (cột 2) + .....

+ Use: Diễn tả 1 ước muốn, 1 mong ước mà không có thật ở hiện tại.
+ Note: Trong câu có sử dụng động từ Tobe thì were đi với tất cả các ngôi.
- Ask Ss to make sentences using Wish:
1. I don’t have a bike. → I wish ............................
2. I am not in the swimming pool
