I. Tag questions : Câu hỏi đuôi
- Câu hỏi đuôi là dạng câu hỏi Yes /No, nó bao gồm 2 phần: phần đầu (là một câu) và phần đuôi. Phần đuôi đặt sau dấu phẩy ở cuối câu.
- Ở phần đuôi nếu có “not” thì phải luôn được viết tắt.
- Các chủ từ ở phần đuôi phải luôn chuyển về thành 1 trong các chủ từ: I, he, she, it, we, you, they sau cho phù hợp với chủ từ đầu câu.
Ex: Tam ate dinner, didn’t he?

1. Đối với câu có chủ từ là “I”mà trong câu có động từ To Be, câu hỏi đuôi là: am I not hoặc aren’t I?
Ex: I am standing on the landmark with Cambodia, am I not/ aren’t I?
2. Đối với câu yêu cầu bắt đầu là “Let’s + Vo…”, câu hỏi đuôi phải là shan’t we?
Ex: Let’s play computer games, shan’t we?
3. Đối với câu yêu cầu bắt đầu là “ Vo…”, câu hỏi đuôi phải là will you hoặc won’t you?
Ex: Come to Hoa’s house with me tonight, will you?
