1. Warm up
- T asks Ss to look at the picture page 10 and introduce the situation.
+ How do you greet each other in Vietnamese?
2. Presentation
* Activity 1. (Introduce the ways of
Greeting each other informally)
- T shows the real situation to present new words.
- T plays the tape & asks Ss to listen and repeat ( twice ).
Notice the intonation

Ask Ss to repeat the greetings
Notice the differences between Hello and Hi
* Activity 2. (Present the way of introducing their names)
- T uses the real situation to present new structures.
( When you first meet each other. What do you often introduce? )
- T asks Sts to listen to the tape and find out how to introduce names in English .
- T shows the new structures.
- T Asski Ss to play the role Nam, Bad to repeat the sentences .
How many ways can we use to introduce name?
Introduce short form.
