Week 1 : From : September 9thto September 13th.

I. Aims:
Students remember the structures they have learnt :
Simple past tense.
Used to + ( bare inf.)
S + wish + S + past simple.
II. Practice:
1. Ask students to repeat the structures:
a. Used to :
* Meaning : đã từng, thường.
*Use : “Used to” dùng để diễn đạt một thói quen hoặc một sự kiện xác thực xảy ra trong quá khứ hoặc một tình trạng mà hiện nay không còn nữa.
* Form : + S + used to + bare inf.
- S + not + use to + bare inf. Yes, S + did
? Did + S + use to + bare inf. ? No, S + did not.

b. “Wish”
* Meaning : ước gì, ước
* Use : Động từ “wish” được dùng để chỉ điều gì đó mà đến lúc sau cùng không xảy ra hoặc chắc chắn sẽ không xảy ra.
- “Wish” : thường ngụ ý một tình huống không có thực hoặc trái ngược với thực tế.
Note : - Nếu câu đặt vấnđề dùng động từ ở thể phủ định thì câu dùng với cấu trúc “wish” phải ở thể khẳng định và ngược lại.
- Nếu câu đặt vấn đề dùng động từ ở thì hiện tại đơn thì câu dùng với cấu trúc “wish” phải ở thì quá khứ đơn.
