I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students be able to ask and answer questions about where someone is from .

He’s from Malaysia

3)Skills:Listening ,Speaking, Reading and Writing
- Focus on: listening and speaking
III. Techniques and teaching aids:
-Techniques :Pair work; Group work; role play
-Teaching aids: Book, board, pictures
-Method: communicative approad
IV.Procedures:
Warm up: Slap the board (5’)
- Gets students play the game
- Introduces the new lesson.
- Introduces some characters
Presentation :
2.1. Look , listen and repeat : (10’)
- Introduce some characters.
- Teach vocabulary
- Teaches vocabulary
- Asks students to look at the picture of the class.
- Plays the tape and asks students repeat
- Teaches sentence patterns
2.2.Point, ask and answer : (15’)
- Asks students to point to the characters
- Asks students to work in pairs
- Calls some pairs to demonstrate the task in front of the class
- Some pairs to demonstrate the task
- Plays the tape for students to listen and tick the correct answers
3. Production : (7’)
Sts practise the dialogue with their partner

Two sts practise the dialogue on p.6

2.3. Listen and tick : (10’)
- Have Ss look at the pictures on page 7 and identify what in the pictures.
- Plays the tape for students to listen and tick the correct answers
- Asks students to exchange their answers with their partners
- Provides the answers and explanations
- Asks students to work in pairs to ask and answer questions about the characters
- Calls some pairs to demonstrate the task in front of the class
2.4. Talk : (15’)
- Guide sts to talk
- Sts listen and then practise asking about the characters in the pictures a , b, c, d
- Sts practise in pairs
- Ask some pairs to practise in front of the class.
- Diffrerent groups observe and remark
3. Production: ( 7’)
-Asks students to review the lesson at home and prepare the next lesson
-Ask sts to learn the words by heart.
-Do ex.4,5,6-workbook.

I-Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to pronounce correctly the sounds of the letters “ese” as in Vietnamese and those of the letters “ian” as in Indonesian, listen and number the pictures in the order they hear

1)Vocabulary : cultural show,mask,model,twin towers
2)Phonics: Vietnamese, indonesian
3)Skills:Listening ,Speaking, Reading and Writing
