I.Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about occuptations and
review the exclamations.
II.Language focus:
1.vocabulary: review
2. Grammar : -Exclaimations
-Talk about occupations

I. Warm -up : Greeting and chatting
-Ask ss some questions about date, health and weather.
1. How are you?
2. What`s the weather like today?
3. What do you do everydaay?
4. How do you go to school?
5. What does your mother do ?
6. Where does she work?
* Revision: play games : " Network"

intelligent good awful
-Ask ss to read " Ajectives" and "Nouns",then write down in your notebook
II. Presentation.
1. Exclaimations:" What is exclaimation ?"
( is a word or a phrase used to express a surprise or a strong feeling )
II. Form:
Ex: What a lovely house !
=> What + a/an + adj + N(sing) !
What + adj + N( plural) !
How + adj + N S + V !
There are 2 kinds of exclamations :
- Complaints
Ex : What an awful day!
How an awful day it is !
Compliments
Ex : What beautiful flowers !
How beautiful flowers they are !
-Ask ss to make more examples.
- Check and correct.
2. Talk about occupations.
EX: What do you do ?
I`m a teacher .
Where do you work ?
I work in a school.
- Ask ss to work in pairs
-correct
III. Practice.
_ Ask ss to do exercises.
Exercise 1: Using the exclaimation sentence to rewrite the following sentences
Ex: The livingroom is very lovely.
-> What a lovely livingroom!
1. The movie is very interesting.
2. This bed is very comfortable.
3.That car is very fast.
4. The dress is very beautiful.
5.The test is very difficult.
6. The weather is very awful.
7. The cake is very delicious.
8. The pictures are very expensive.
9. The boy is very friendly.
10. The yard is very large.
-Call ss to go to the board and write down the answers.
Exercise 2: Using structure of exclaimation to write compliments and complaints.
-Call ss to go to the board and write down the answers.
-Correct.
* Compliments.
What a beautiful girl !
What colorful pictures!
What a delicious meal !
What a clever boy!
What a good child!
-Ask ss to write down.
Exercise 3 . Answer the questions using the given keys in brackets.
1. What does his father do ? ( farmer)
2. Where does he work ? ( countryside)
3. How far is it from your school to the bus stop ? ( 700 meters)
4. When is your mother’s birthday? ( January 24th)
5. What time will we be back ? ( 4.30 p m)
6. What is her job? ( journalist )
-Call ss to go to the board and write down the answers.
-check and correct
-Ask ss to work in pairs ( Using the sentences above - Ask & answer )
