1.Warm up:
*Chatting:
-T. introduce some about himself.
2.Activity1:
*Introduce the textbook:
-Show ss the textbook(English 6).
-Ask ss to take out their English textbook.
-Ask ss if they know this subject.
-Tell ss some about England and it’s language.
-Let ss know the importance of learning English.
-Introduce some about English 6.
+Contains 16 units. Each unit has two or three sections(A,B,C).
+It divides in to themes: education, health, entertainment...
+In each lesson, there are main activities: warm up, presentation, practice, remember.....

*How to learn English.
-There are four skills in learning E.

-Tell ss some activities in each skill and the important of it.
-Tell ss about learning vocabulary, practicing structure...

A.Objectives:
-By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to say “Hello” to people and introduce their names.

-Textbook, pictures.

1.Warm up:
*Chatting:
-Ask ss some questions to make fun.
2.Presentation1:
-Ask ss to look at the first picture on p.10 and guess what the students in the picture are saying to each other.
-Ask ss to tell what they often say when they meet people.
-Give feedback.
-Say the greeting “Hello”, “Hi” and let ss repeat chorally.
-Call on some ss repeat individually.
-Notice ss about the main stress “Hello”.(2nd syllable).
3.Practice1:
-Ask ss to work in pairs, say “Hello” then “Hi” to their classmates.
-Call some pairs to practice before the class.
-Give feedback.
4.Presentation2:
-Set the scene:” you meet someone, after you say hello to them what do you often introduce to him/ her.
-Have ss listen and repeat chorally the sentences in A3 on p.11.
-Present the structures:
+I am..........( tôi là....).
+My name is......( tên tôi là....).
*use:to introduce one’s name.
5.Practice2:
-Ask ss to practice in groups of four, introduce one’s name using the structures: “I am....” then “My name is.....”.
-Ask some groups to practice before the class.
-Give feedback.

-Practice saying “Hello”, “Hi” and introduce your name to your friends.
-Prepare: A5,6,7.
