Period 1: INTRODUCTION
Objective:
After finishing this period Teacher can motivate sts to learn thi subject well
Content:
1. Why do we learn English?
2. How to learn English well?
Procedures:
1. Presenting the book
2. Why do we learn English?
English is an international language.
English helps us find good jobs in foreign companies and get big salary.
English helps us study abroad.
English also makes many people in the world come nearer.
3. How to learn English well?
If we want to learn English well,we must learn 4 skils well ( listening:speaking; reading;writing).
We aren’t shy and nervous to speak or read English.
We usually listen to the tape to improve listening skill.
We must learn by heart the new words and prepare the lesson at home.
We have to do our best to overcome the problems( We weren’t taught English in the primary school like in other schools)

A student’s book.
A workbook.
A dictionary.
A notebook
5. Tests
There are two tests of 15’ and two tests of 45’in the term.
6. Checking the previous lesson.
Checking newwords and structures in the new lesson and before the new lesson.
Sts’volunteer can be given marks in the new lesson ,if that grammar point concern the old lesson.

III. Techniques: Brainstorming, question and answer, pair work and group work.

2.Presentation +Practice
- Activity 1:
+ T uses the pictures in the book to introduce the new words
+Sts read newwords (choral- individual).
- Activity 2: Sts greet together (pair work)
- Activity 3:
+ Sts listen to the tape (after repeat).
+ T introduces structure.
+ Sts practice greeting and introducing (in pair)
- Activity 4:
+ T calls some pairs to practice in front of the class

+ T asks some Sts to match these words
+ T helps Sts know how and when to use this structure
+ T calls some sts to ask and answer about the structure
- Activity 2:
+ Sts plays role dialogues A5
+ T asks Sts to practice in pairs
